Malgrat de Mar is an industrial town(iron and steel industry), but is also a tourist centre, with a beatiful beach.
The town itself can offer a great deal of variety in the shopping streets of the old historical centre, which has many fine restaurants and cafes. however the most outstanding aspect is the magnificent and exceedingly long sea-front promenade, which takes you directly all the way to the resort centre of <<Santa Susanna>>.
En route to this point the visitor will find all manner of fun thigs to do, both during the day - minigolf, trampolines- and also at night - discos and beach cafes with open-air dancing.
